A cryptocurrency wallet is a digital tool that allows you to send, receive, and store crypto securely. You can choose from different types however, the easiest wallet to use is a mobile wallet.
- Mobile Wallets (easiest for beginners) – Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Meta Mask are a great option, but you will need to choose this based on personal preference and after you do your own independent research to see what is most user friendly and secure.
Step 2: Download and Set Up Your Wallet
- Go to the official website or app store and download your chosen wallet (ex. Trust Wallet from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- Open the app and create a new wallet.
- The app will generate a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase – write it down and store it safely (DO NOT share it with anyone).
- Set up a strong password or PIN for added security.
Now, your wallet is ready to receive cryptocurrency!
